Hello, and thanks for visiting.
I have been a professional photographer for over 6 years now, and as you can tell from my portfolio, I photograph quite a wide range of subjects. I find the variety of my work means one project inspires another, and that I continue to find innovative methods to photograph people and products without stagnating, and getting stuck in my creativity.
One day I will be photographing a wedding, and by the end of the week I may have also photographed a restaurant, a musician and created a bar menu.
I feel variety is the spice of life, and my job allows me to meet and work with amazing people from all walks of life and backgrounds. I have won awards in a variety of fields of photography, from weddings, to landscapes, to portraits as a result.
My ability as a successful photographer is not simply from being able to use a camera, understand lighting techniques, and compose a shot. It is also because I am a genuine people person. I can happily follow a strict brief that a client has requested, or can take control and inspire a shoot if that is what is required.
I am proud to be a photographer and a very hard worker (often still editing into the small hours). I come from a hard working family of creatives – my mother is a professional artist and my father is an author. I was raised to believe that I can be successful in anything I want to be, as long as I have passion and believe in myself.
Outside the field of photography, I also founded Birmingham Arts (ArtsBrum), Birmingham Open Studios and run an Open Mic night in Moseley. I love travelling (who doesn’t) and trying to balance keeping fit whilst drinking enough wine 😉
If you wish to discuss you wedding, event or photography ideas with me, I will be happy to talk to you either face-to-face or on the phone. Or you can contact me here
